Villanova Community Info Rich history, charming community and luxury homes

Villanova is home of nationally renowned Villanova University, nestled in between Radnor, Gladwyne and Bryn Mawr.

Villanova has a rich history, and a charming ambiance. Located close to 476, and served by the SEPTA Paoli/Thorndale Line regional rail train and Norristown High Speed Line, it’s an easy commute to Center City Philadelphia or Manhattan via Amtrak’s 30th Street Station or neighboring Ardmore’s Amtrak sub-station.

In a community where Villanova University is at the center, it’s not surprising that 84% of the residents have a college degree and 45% have post-graduate degrees. View our complete Villanova Neighborhood Report for details.

Large luxury estates are harder to find as Villanova University and other public entities have been acquiring properties on large acreages. There are currently only 30 privately owned homes in Villanova on over 5 acres. If you’re looking for a large estate home, Lux Living Group’s private VIP off-market matchmaking buyer service can help.

Villanova has seen an increase in demand for suburban living as reported in my blog, however the changes are not as dramatic as seen in Gladwyne.
